Les trésors offerts par @delphinenardin. Chaque chose est dans un petit sachet plastique, il y a parfois des indications écrites.... je retrouve dans cette boîte tout son art du bijou. Un geste qui m'inspire et m'intimide un peu.
Les précieux coupons de tissus Harristweed rapportés par ma sœur de @latelier_de_decoration lors d'un voyage aux îles Hebrides. Leur texture légèrement râpeuse et leurs nuances si proches de la nature me font venir une foule d'idées. Envie de répondre à une générosité.
Certaines de mes pièces en cours ont puisé dans ces trésors même si l'envie était grande de les laisser intacts comme pour une collection.

Things unsaid @pistachiosjewelry I would like to thank @precious.collective and @pistachiosjewelry for having selected my work for the exhibition Things unsaid, witch will be on view at Pistachios Gallery in Chicago until october 14, and will travel to Munich in 2026. The brooch 'Allons voir' is part of a set of seven brooches on display.
The brooch's title borrows a few words from the famous ode to Cassandre, 'Mignonne, allons voir si la rose' (Pierre de Ronsard, 1524-1585).
Each surface is covered with silk veils that assembles the main rose motif like a puzzle, itself partially concealed in places.
A tribute to the strategy of seduction at work in the poem. 'Allons voir', n°463

THINGS UNSAID
August 14, 2025- October 26, 2025 I approached this theme with the idea that the brooch, as an object, would express the unspoken meaning of its title–an expression in itself without caption or explanation. An unspoken status. At first, I had imagined working on the unspoken aspects of seduction with a surrealist approach, whitch guided the choice of my titles. It was important in my process that the title existed before I began making the brooches–that the spoken would precede the unspoken. Each brooch then followed its own course, finding its expression through the act of making–unfolding a life that emerged from the title, broke away from it, and perhaps even drifted from my initial intentions.
